ASDWA Annual Conference: 2019
On behalf of our members, you are invited to join state, Federal, and local water professionals who will gather at ASDWA’s 34th Annual Conference in Tampa, Florida to tackle the many challenges facing the water community. Conference attendees will include state and territorial drinking water program administrators and their staff, government personnel from EPA and other Federal agencies, drinking water association personnel, water community colleagues, and industry group representatives.

Evening Social Event – the Starship II Dinner Cruise:
ASDWA will host an evening dinner cruise on the Starship II on Tuesday, October 29 from 6:30-9:30 PM – open to all attendees interested, however space is limited to the first 150 reservations. The cost of this event is $20. You may reserve your seat by checking the appropriate box on your registration form, or checking with ASDWA staff at the Registration Table.
Included with your ticket:
- A two-and-a-half-hour cruise along unique waterfront locations such as Harbour Island and Davis Island.
- Delicious starters, popular entrées, indulgent desserts and a full cocktail menu.
- Unlimited coffee, soda, tea and water. Alcoholic beverages may be purchased.
- Spectacular views of Tampa’s magnificent and growing skyline!
- Onboard entertainment with music, dancing, and access to lounge the lounge deck.

The cruise port is a 10-minute walk from the hotel. Boarding will be from 6:30 to 7:00 pm. The Starship II will depart at 7:00 and will return at 9:30 PM.

ASDWA Workshop – Certification Reimagined:
This year’s Conference will feature an interactive workshop open to all conference attendees on Wednesday, October 30th, focused on innovative approaches to operator certification. Facilitated by subject matter experts from ASDWA and the Association of Boards of Certification (ABC), attendees will work in small groups to explore potential pathways, barriers, and needs for operator certification, portability, and credentialing.
Interested? Please help us make the workshop as valuable as possible by responding to some questions on credential portability. Your answers will assist the workshop organizers in tailoring the discussion and presented materials to best suit the audience.

ASDWA has reserved a block of rooms for October 26, 2019 – November 1, 2019. The room rate of $185/night will be available until October 4th or until the group block is sold-out, whichever comes first. Payment Options:
ASDWA’s Registration Form includes options to provide a purchase order number, indicate payment at a later date or onsite, or submit an online payment for one or multiple registrations with your credit card. If you select the option to Pay Online, after you complete the form and press Submit, you will be redirected to PayPal.com to process your credit card payment.
