WateReuse Symposium & State Summit on Water Reuse
WateReuse Symposium (March 11-14)
The Annual WateReuse Symposium is the premier conference on water recycling — attracting water professionals and water reuse practitioners globally for knowledge-sharing, networking, and collaboration. The 39th Annual WateReuse Symposium is a celebration of a unique moment for water reuse. New funding, new collaborations, and new regulatory frameworks are elevating opportunities for reuse projects nationwide. The Symposium is the most comprehensive water recycling learning opportunity available, covering policy, technology, operations, and communications for applications that range from irrigation and potable reuse to onsite and industrial systems. This one stop event also includes networking events and interactive workshops, including the State Summit on Water Reuse on the first day of the Symposium.
For registration and other event information, visit the WateReuse Symposium webpage.
State Summit on Water Reuse (March 11th)
State regulatory agencies from across the U.S. come together on the first day of the Annual WateReuse Symposium to discuss and share information and experiences on programs and approaches for the management of water reuse applications. Now in its 6th year, the regulator summit supports National Water Reuse Action Plan, Action 2.2: Enhance State Collaboration on Water Reuse, and is organized in partnership with the Association of Clean Water Administrators (ACWA), Association of State Drinking Water Administrators (ASDWA), and the U.S. Environmental Protection Agency.
This year’s Summit will occur on March 11, 2024, in conjunction with the annual WateReuse Association Symposium (March 11-14) at the Hilton Denver City Center in Denver, CO. The primary goal of the State Summit is to provide a place for state regulators to share and learn about a range of water reuse issues, network with state colleagues, and coordinate with representatives from select federal agencies. The Summit will feature perspectives from many states and provide an opportunity for participants to share their thoughts and key questions with colleagues from around the country.
For information about registering for the states-only summit, reach out to Ashley Voskuhl (avoskuhl@asdwa.org) by February 15, 2024.
