ASDWA/EPA Data Management Users Conference (DMUC): 2024

This year’s DMUC will be held in Alexandria, VA, from September 9 – 11, 2024. Please note there is a $150 fee associated with registration for the event. If you have questions, please email Anthony DeRosa at aderosa(at)asdwa.

ASDWA has reserved a block of guest rooms at the rate of $229 (plus tax). Reservations must be made by August 18, 2024, to guarantee room availability. The hotel is directly across the street from the King Street Metro Station, providing easy access to local airports. Parking is available onsite at a discounted rate of $26/overnight or $16/daily.
If you are unable to reserve a room at the negotiated rate, please contact ASDWA.

Registration Fees:

All attendees must pay a $150 registration fee.

Please note that this fee does not qualify for reimbursement if ASDWA provides funding to support your travel. Further, if an invoice is generated to collect payment after the conference, a $25 fee will be added.

Online Registration and Payment:

ASDWA’s Online Registration and Payments Forms can be accessed below. You will receive a confirmation via email after you submit your registration/payment.
Payment Options:
The form includes options to submit an online payment for one or multiple registrations with your credit card, provide a purchase order number, or indicate payment onsite.
If you select the option to Pay Online, you will be redirected to PayPal.com to process your credit card payment after completing the form and pressing Submit. Please note: a PayPal account is not required to submit a credit card payment via PayPal. If you need assistance, please contact Anthony DeRosa of ASDWA.

Register Now, Pay Later:
If you wish to register now but submit an online payment to ASDWA at a later date, please submit a Registration Form with the “Pay Onsite” option selected. Payment prior to the meeting or onsite is required, as generating registration invoices after the meeting will incur a $25 fee.

When you’re ready to submit your payment, return to this site and use the Payment Form below. If you are paying for multiple registrants, please indicate their name(s) in the Notes field.

Onsite Technical Support and Consultation for SDWIS Systems:

Based on positive feedback, ASDWA and EPA will arrange a Tech Support and Consult room throughout the Conference to provide on-site user support and consultation for all current SDWIS systems. The contractors (Systalex and The Group) will be available to provide technical assistance, document technical issues, and work to resolve these issues directly with the user.
If you are interested in scheduling time to speak with one of the available contractors, please indicate your interest during registration or contact Anthony DeRosa at ASDWA for more information.

Limited Travel Support for States – Submissions Due June 30, 2024:

ASDWA has limited funds to support state travel to this meeting. In an effort to provide as much assistance to as many individuals as possible, ASDWA will only provide reimbursement for hotel, airfare and transportation costs. Meals will not be reimbursed for this year.
Approval Timelines: 
  • Submit your travel estimate by June 30.
  • ASDWA will make the first round of determinations by July 12th.
  • After the first round, any remaining funds will be available to support additional staff on a first come, first serve basis.

If you have trouble with these deadlines or have any special circumstances related to travel, please get in touch with Anthony DeRosa so we can work to try to meet your needs.

Please note the following if you request travel support:
  • There is a $150 registration fee for this event. This administrative fee does not qualify for reimbursement.
  • ASDWA will prioritize support for one staff person per state until all funds are reserved. If you submit requests for multiple individuals from your program, please indicate who should receive priority consideration in the notes.
  • Ensure you have approval from your program Administrator to attend the meeting. A copy of your approval will be shared with your primacy agency Administrator.
  • Before submission, you will be asked to confirm you have read ASDWA’s Reimbursement Policy. Please take this important step, so you know what will and will not be covered. A copy is linked to the submission form and online here: ASDWA-Reimbursement-Policy.pdf
  • After travel, you must complete an ASDWA Travel Expense Reimbursement Form (jotform.com) ASDWA will process reimbursements within 30 days of submission.
