Kentucky and ASDWA Participate in Global DBPs Conference
On Thursday, March 27, 2025, Kentucky and ASDWA staff participated in the H2O For All Conference in London to present, listen, and learn about global strategies to address disinfection byproducts (DBPs) in drinking water. Panels and presentations included representatives from the United Kingdom, Portugal, Germany, Italy, as well as the Kentucky Energy and Environment Cabinet.
H2O For All is funded through a grant from the European Union, with the goal of understanding emerging technologies, risk management, and the stakeholder engagement process to manage DBPs. Following this workshop will be a presentation by the H2O For All team in Brussels, Belgium to policymakers on lessons learned and next steps for DBPs.
