ERIS Report Details State Research Needs
The Environmental Research Institute of the States (ERIS) released their biennial report on state research needs in early February 2025. This report was completed in conjunction with members of the Environmental Council of the States (ECOS), to identify the research needs of the States for the upcoming year.
The report includes a breakdown of the needs based on the environmental area, including PFAS research, water research, and others. Many of these needs are focused on research and data analysis to provide safer drinking water to the American people.
Along with the report, ERIS created a dashboard of the individual States’ needs assessments.
