EPA Launches Online Water Infrastructure Capacity Assessment Tool

Off

EPA’s Office of Water has launched a new online mapping tool, the Water Infrastructure and Capacity Assessment Tool (Water ICAT). The purpose of the tool is to help technical assistance providers and other users identify drinking water and wastewater utilities that may benefit from additional federal, state, or local assistance with water infrastructure or capacity development. Water ICAT combines compliance, community, and water infrastructure funding data to conduct an initial screening of water utilities that may need support.

Webinar: On January 14, 2025, from 2:30 – 3:30 pm (ET), EPA will host a webinar to provide more information. Register for the webinar here.

In case you miss the webinar, it will also be recorded and posted on the Water ICAT webpage. If you have questions, contact Colleen Neely of OGWDW at neely.colleen@epa.gov.
