Oct. 20-26 is National Lead Poisoning Prevention Week

Next week (October 20-26, 2024) is National Lead Poisoning Prevention Week. EPA observes this week to raise awareness about lead exposure and lead poisoning, and increase collaboration across the country to reduce lead exposure for all Americans

Following the announcement from EPA and the Biden Administration on the passage of the Lead & Copper Rule Improvements and the submission of all lead service line inventories, EPA will release the Lead Awareness Curriculum for state, tribe, and local community leaders to educate communities on lead exposure.

EPA, HUD, and CDC will be hosting the below webinars for lead poisoning prevention and the goals of getting the lead out of our drinking water.
