EPA Updated Water System State Partnerships Compendium

The Capacity Development Branch in EPA’s Office of Ground Water and Drinking Water has released an update to the, “Water System Partnerships Compendium of State Programs and Policies.” This newly updated compendium contains current 2024 information about state-implemented programs, statutes, and policies that encourage water system partnerships. It provides public water systems and technical assistance providers with useful information about available resources in their states. It also supports state drinking water programs by sharing how other states across the nation are encouraging and facilitating water system partnerships. The compendium includes a national analysis of the types of partnerships activities and financial incentives that are available to water systems as they work to address a variety of challenges related to technical, managerial, and financial capacity; consolidation planning; water supply planning; and workforce development. For more information, read the compendium and visit EPA’s website.
