Register Now for the National Capacity Development and Operator Certification Workshop!
Don’t forget to register for the 7th National Capacity Development and Operator Certification Workshop being held on August 7-9, 2024, in Madison, Wisconsin. The agenda has now been updated and this year’s workshop theme is, “50 Years of SDWA: Taking Lessons Learned to Build Towards a Sustainable Future.”
The workshop will feature a technical assistance providers expo on the first day. The agenda topics over the course of the 2 ½ day workshop include funding, operator training and certification, workforce, capacity development and assessments, using measures and data, emergency response and cybersecurity, lead service lines, and more. The format for each session will provide many opportunities for discussions with the participants.
The workshop is co-hosted by EPA and ASDWA for state and territorial drinking water programs, EPA, tribes, and technical assistance providers. The goal of this workshop is to foster coordination and encourage collaboration between the Capacity Development and Operator Certification programs.
