EPA Announces Final Consumer Confidence Report (CCR) Rule and ASDWA Releases Summary

Today (May 15), EPA announced the final rule for the Consumer Confidence Report (CCR) with a compliance date of January 1, 2027. Highlights from the final rule include:

  • New compliance data monitoring (CMD) requirements;
  • Biannual delivery requiring a new report only for systems with a violation or action level exceedance (ALE); and
  • New translation requirements for primacy agencies.
