GWPC Webinar on SWIFT Managed Aquifer Recharge Project
On Tuesday, January 16, from 1:00 to 2:30 pm (ET), the Ground Water Protection Council (GWPC) will host a webinar featuring Daniel Holloway, the Principal Project Manager with the Hampton Roads Sanitation District in Virginia. During the webinar, participants will learn about the Sustainable Water Initiative for Tomorrow (SWIFT) managed aquifer recharge project in eastern Virginia. The project is designed to further protect the region’s environment, enhance the sustainability of the region’s long-term groundwater supply, and help address environmental pressures such as Chesapeake Bay restoration, sea level rise and saltwater intrusion.
