EPA Publishes Proposed Lead and Copper Rule Improvements in Federal Register
Today, December 6, 2023, EPA published the proposed LCRI in the Federal Register. Comments on the proposed LCRI may be submitted to regulations.gov under Docket ID No. EPA–HQ–OW–2022–0801 on or before February 5, 2024. In the proposal, EPA includes more than 80 specific requests for comment; ASDWA collated these requests in the following document: Requests for Comment_FR Additional information, including fact sheets and summaries on the proposed LCRI can be found on EPA’s website.
EPA will hold a virtual public hearing on the proposed LCRI on January 16, 2024. Registration to speak at the public hearing closes on January 9, 2024; register to attend or speak at the public hearing here.
