EPA Unveils Two New Public Tools to Provide Easy Access to SRF Data
On November 8, EPA released two new public online tools for accessing State Revolving Fund (SRF) data. First, the SRF Public Dashboards allow users to explore data through interactive, click-enabled visualizations, including charts and maps, that can be filtered. The data and visualizations will be downloadable in a variety of formats, such as Excel, PDF, and JPEG. The SRF Public Dashboards provide access to both Drinking Water SRF and Clean Water SRF data. The annual data presented in the dashboard is updated each year on June 30th. Therefore, any updates made after June 30th will not appear until the following year’s annual data release.
The second tool, the SRF Public Portal, provides access to both summary data reports (DWSRF since 1997 and CWSRF since 1988) and detailed project-specific data reports starting in 2021. Users are able to develop and download custom SRF data reports. The DWSRF and CWSRF data displayed is from the Water Infrastructure Investment Tracking System (WIITS). Future updates to the public portal will include additional data from EPA Office of Water programs.
