OMB Completes its Review of EPA’s PFAS NPDWR Proposal
Yesterday (3/5), the Office of Management and Budget (OMB) updated its website to reflect that the Agency completed its review of EPA’s proposed National Primary Drinking Water Regulation for PFOA and PFOS on Friday, March 3. The statutory deadline for EPA to propose the rule was the same day. The completion of this review typically indicates that the public release of this proposal should be in the very near future. Once the proposed rule is published in the Federal Register, the public will have the opportunity to provide comments.
