EPA Launches Database on Thermal Treatment Processes for the Remediation of PFAS
On June 7, EPA launched the PFAS Thermal Treatment Database (PFASTT), which provides referenced information on the use of different thermal treatment processes for the remediation of PFAS. This online tool was designed for water utilities; federal, state, and local agencies; scientific researchers; and others interested in the thermal treatment of PFAS to help these groups make decisions for effective PFAS treatment processes, plan for future treatment plant upgrades, and to recognize research needs, among others.
