19th Annual Drinking Water Workshop Call for Abstracts and Save the Date
EPA has recently announced its free annual drinking water workshop, held in partnership with ASDWA, will take place this year on August 29 – September 1. The workshop is primarily designed for primacy agency (tribal, states, territories) staff responsible for drinking water regulations compliance and treatment technologies permitting; however, others may also benefit, including system owners and operators, local and tribal governments, academics, design engineers, technical assistance providers, and consultants. The workshop attracts thousands of attendees and will provide the latest information on various solutions and strategies for handling small drinking water system challenges.
Attendees will have opportunities to receive in-depth technical training, participate in breakout focus groups, and hear from experts in the field to learn about the latest advances in monitoring, distribution, treatment, and source water topics. You are encouraged to fill out the workshop notification form as a step for preregistration, and indicate if you would attend the Workshop in-person or virtually. Abstracts should be submitted by May 13. We will consider technical talks that address small drinking water system challenges and solutions within the two primary tracks of monitoring and distribution and source and treatment. See the workshop website for details and directions for submitting an abstract.
