EPA Announces Regional Administrators for Regions 6, 7, and 9

On December 9, EPA announced the appointment of three new Regional Administrators for EPA regions 6, 7, and 9.

Region 6 – Dr. Earthea Nance

Dr. Nance is currently an associate professor at the Barbara Jordan-Mickey Leland School of Public Affairs at Texas Southern University. For the past two decades, Dr. Nance has worked with communities at disproportionate risk of environmental hazards and without adequate environmental infrastructure.

Region 7 – Meg McCollister

Meg McCollister has nearly two decades of experience serving as an advisor to non-profits, candidates for public office and public policy campaigns.

Region 9 – Martha Guzman

For the past five years, Martha Guzman has served as a Commissioner at the California Public Utilities Commission. According to the Agency’s news release, her work has included leadership on issues related to fiscal oversight of utilities, water affordability, increasing access to clean energy programs, and preventing disconnections of basic utilities for Disadvantaged Communities.
