EPA Updates Draft Lead Strategy to Reflect Bipartisan Infrastructure Law, Extends Comment Period
In the December 9 Federal Register, EPA announced the release of an updated Draft Strategy to Reduce Lead Exposures and Disparities in U.S. Communities. The Agency modified the draft to reflect additional actions to be taken to address lead in drinking water in accordance with the recently signed Bipartisan Infrastructure Law. Accordingly, EPA has also extended the comment period to allow for public input until March 16, 2022.
