USDA Awards $272 Million for Rural Water Infrastructure Loans and Grants
The U.S. Department of Agriculture (USDA) has announced $272 million in awards for 114 projects in 37 states and Puerto Rico through the Rural Development Water and Waste Disposal Loan and Grant Program. This program is for communities in rural areas with populations of 10,000 or less. This funding is being provided for clean and reliable drinking water systems, sanitary sewage disposal, sanitary solid waste disposal, and storm water drainage.
