EPA Grants for States to Assist Small Underserved and Disadvantaged Communities
EPA has announced $25 million in funding for states territories to assist public water systems through the Small Underserved and Disadvantaged Communities (SUDC) Grant Program under the Water Infrastructure Improvements for the Nation Act (WIIN Act). EPA will award these grants to support SDWA compliance and provide access to drinking water services. Funding can also be used to conduct household water quality testing, including testing for unregulated contaminants. States can submit applications for funding until June 30, 2022.
