EPA Announces 3 Additional LCRR Community Roundtables
The Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) has posted the date and times for the next three Community Roundtables on the Revised Lead and Copper Rule (LCRR) as shown below:
- Memphis, Tennessee on July 7, 2021 from 5:00 to 7:00 pm (EDT)
- Chicago, Illinois on July 8, 2021 from 3:00 to 5:00 pm (EDT)
- Milwaukee, Wisconsin on July 14, 2021 from 2:30 to 4:30 pm (EDT)
The Roundtables can be viewed by using this link . The recordings of the previous LCRR Community Roundtables are also posted on the same YouTube Channel. As of 7/1, EPA has held six LCRR Community Roundtables in Pittsburgh, PA (June 3rd), Newark, NJ (June 4th), Malden, MA (June 14th), Newburgh, NY (June 23rd), Washington, DC (June 25th), and Flint and Detroit, MI (June 28th)
Separate from the Community Roundtables, EPA plans to host national stakeholder roundtables with drinking water utilities, intergovernmental associations, environmental organizations, environmental justice organizations, public health organizations, and consumer associations in July. EPA will also hold a national co-regulator meeting to discuss the feedback received from communities and stakeholders in late July.
