ASDWA’s 2020 Year in Review
ASDWA released their 2020 Year in Review detailing the organization’s major accomplishments this past year.
2020 was a certainly a year of unexpected change. In fact, this month marks a full year of ASDWA staff conducting our work remotely. However, despite the very unique challenges brought on by a global pandemic, it was also a year of transformation for both ASDWA and our members.
The major accomplishments highlighted in the report include:
- COVID response, including experiences fostering member engagement while working remote.
- Advancing perspectives on the Lead and Copper Rule Revisions through extensive comments and discussion with EPA.
- Supporting state efforts to assess and address PFAS in drinking water.
- Strengthening collaboration with Federal, Congressional, and industry partners.
- Introducing ASDWA’s new logo and office spaces, reflective of our modern approaches to supporting our members and advancing our mission.
