Registration Open for Capacity Development and Operator Certification Workshop – Virtual Sessions
Registration has opened for EPA and ASDWA’s Capacity Development and Operator Certification Workshop – Virtual Sessions. Registrants can expect to hear strategies on operator training and testing during the pandemic, collaborative actions of the capacity development and operator certification programs to improve compliance, and procedures to build financial resilience. The following sessions will be 45 minutes with an optional hour long discussion after.
Targeting Disadvantaged Systems to Develop Capacity and Compliance
This session will highlight collaborative efforts of the capacity development and operator certification programs that target disadvantaged systems to help with compliance issues and decrease health-based violations.

Additionally, EPA’s Sustainable Systems Team is hosting an introductory webinar that is being held in advance of the August Capacity Development and Operator Certification Virtual Sessions for state drinking water program staff and other partners that want to learn about these programs, want a refresher, or may be new to working on capacity development or operator certification.
