House Announces July 28 Hearing on Reforming Drinking Water Standards
The U.S. House of Representatives Subcommittee on Environment and Climate Change of the Committee on Energy and Commerce will hold a virtual hearing on Tuesday, July 28, at 11 a.m. eastern. The hearing is titled, “There’s Something in the Water: Reforming Our Nation’s Drinking Water Standards.” More information and access to the hearing will be available on the Committee website. Shellie Chard, ASDWA President and Director of the Water Quality Division for the Oklahoma Department of Environmental Quality, will testify at the hearing on ASDWA’s behalf.
