EPA Releases List of Disinfectants to Use Against COVID-19
This morning, EPA released a list of EPA-registered disinfectant products that qualify for use against SARS-CoV 2, the novel coronavirus that causes COVID-19. Disinfectants on this list receive qualification through the agency’s Emerging Viral Pathogen program, which provides a pathway for product manufacturers to submit to EPA data that demonstrates their antimicrobial product’s efficacy against such threats to public health.
