NRWA Webinar on Land Use Zoning for Source Water Protection
On Thursday, February 27th at 2:00 pm (central time), the National Rural Water Association will host a free webinar entitled, “Zoning for Source Water Protection.” During the webinar, participants will learn how land use zoning has been successfully implemented to protect drinking water sources throughout the country. By overlaying source water protection areas with previously established zoning districts, communities can engage stakeholders in a forum to discuss and exchange ideas between government officials, commissioners, landowners, and others in an open, transparent process.
