NDWAC Meeting Covers a Broad Range of Issues
On December 4 & 5, the National Drinking Water Advisory Council (NDWAC) met in Washington, D.C. and discussed a broad range of drinking water issues. The NDWAC consulted with EPA on the proposed Lead and Copper Rule Revisions (LCRR) and the proposed perchlorate rule. Both regulatory consultations generated extensive input from the NDWAC members. NDWAC was also briefed on the national drinking water program priorities, EPA’s Draft National Water Reuse Action Plan (WRAP), health advisories, workforce, and EPA’s strategic plan goal for reducing health-based violations in water systems and the Agency’s National Compliance Initiative for Drinking Water.
