California Publishes First Round of PFAS Well Sampling Results
The California State Water Resources Control Board (SWRCB) has published its first round of public water system well sampling results for PFOA and PFOS, as part of a larger effort to assess PFAS throughout the state. For this first round of testing, approximately 600 wells were sampled near landfills and airports and other known sites where PFAS has been found. The sampling results are available via a public mapping portal. For more information about this effort and California’s other PFAS actions, visit the SWRCB website and read the press release.
