EPA Holding UCMR5 Public Meeting and Webinar on July 16
The Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) will be hosting a public meeting and webinar on Tuesday, July 16, 2019, to discuss potential approaches to developing the proposal for the fifth Unregulated Contaminant Monitoring Rule (UCMR5), including: the impacts of the America’s Water Infrastructure Act (AWIA) of 2018; analytical methods and analytes the Agency is considering, including per- and polyfluoroalkyl substances (PFAS); sampling design; minimum reporting levels; and other possible requirements. The agenda for the public meeting and webinar includes time for open discussion.
The public meeting will be held at the EPA building in Cincinnati, 26 West Martin Luther King Drive, from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. (EDT). Participants can also attend online via a webinar link, which will broadcast the meeting discussion and presentations. Persons wishing to attend the meeting in-person or online via the webinar must register in advance here no later than Thursday, July 11, 2019. During registration you will asked to indicate whether you will attend online or in person. The number of seats and webinar connections available for the meeting is limited and will be available on a first-come, first-served basis.
To be placed on the public presentation agenda, please send an email to: UCMRWebinar@cadmusgroup.com by July 11, 2019, indicating that you would like to present a statement, along with any materials (e.g., PowerPoint slides or PDF document) that you plan to include in your presentation.
