ASTHO Hosting PFAS Webinar on April 25
The Association of State and Territorial Health Officials (ASTHO) is hosting a PFAS webinar on Thursday, April 25th from 3-4 PM EDT. A summary of the webinar is shown below and more information on the webinar and how to register can be found here.
This ASTHOConnects webinar is designed to inform state and territorial health officials and their staff about the ongoing federal initiatives to address environmental PFAS contamination and associated human exposures. This webinar will primarily focus on initiatives from EPA and CDC/ATSDR. EPA will discuss the agency’s recently released PFAS Action Plan, as well as ongoing research efforts intended to assist public health officials in addressing this issue. CDC/ATSDR will share resources to help public health officials address PFAS contamination issues and describe ongoing and future efforts to assess human exposure to PFAS in the United States.
