EPA Announces Development of a Water Reuse Action Plan
Earlier this week, EPA announced the development of a Water Reuse Action Plan (WRAP). EPA will facilitate discussions with federal, state, and water sector stakeholders to both draft the plan and implement the plan. EPA intends to release the draft WRAP at the 34th Annual WateReuse Symposium in September in San Diego.
ASDWA provided some early input to EPA for an early iteration of the WRAP and intends to continue the dialogue with EPA. ASDWA has formed an Ad-Hoc Reuse Workgroup to provide more detailed input and foster coordination with partner organizations such as ACWA and ECOS.
