Rescheduled EPA Webinar on Treatment for Emerging Contaminants
The partial government shutdown caused the loss of the January webinar in EPA’s monthly series on challenges and solutions for small water systems. Now the webinar on Treatment Technologies for Removing Chemicals of Concern has been rescheduled for February 26, 2019 at 2:00 EST. This webinar will cover Treatment for Contaminants of Emerging Concern (CECs): Per- and Polyfluoroalkyl Substances (PFAS), Cyanotoxins, and Perchlorate, plus Treatment Approaches for 1,4-Dioxane in Reuse and Groundwater. The presenters come from EPA’s Office of Research and Development and the state of California. Anyone with an interest in these topics can find additional information and register at the webinar series website.
