New Mexico Issues Violation to Air Force for PFAS Contamination
New Mexico recently issued a violation to the Air Force for groundwater contamination from per- and polyfluoroalkyl substances (PFAS). This violation spells out several items that were unsatisfactory in the Air Force’s response to the state’s concerns. PFAS problems across the country continue to increase, and New Mexico has now been added to the many states that are grappling with PFAS contamination and trying to figure out what to do and next steps.
