ITRC PFAS Training Events to be Held Across the Nation
The Interstate Technology & Regulatory Council (ITRC) will hold a series of free training events across the nation from October 2018 through May 2019. The trainings are being led by experts from state and federal agencies, academia, and private industry. Topics during the training will include: site characterization (sampling and analysis), complex mechanisms that impact fate and transport, current and potential remediation technologies, AFFF, and PFAS risk communications. State and federal environmental and health agencies (including state drinking water programs), tribes, local governments, communities, and others interested in learning about PFAS are encouraged to attend. Travel scholarships are available for state staff in limited quantity for each of the events. For more information, locations and dates, and to register, visit the ITRC website.
