EPA Announces Next PFAS Community Engagement in Horsham, PA
Yesterday (6/27), EPA announced its second PFAS Community Engagement in Horsham, PA on July 25th. Both the working session and listening session will be held at the Hatboro-Horsham High School.
EPA also announced that the next two community engagements will be near Fountain, CO and in North Carolina. Details on the exact dates and locations for those two will be coming soon.
EPA has posted the combined presentations from the first PFAS Community Engagement in Exeter, NH on June 26-26th. Feedback from this engagement has been positive, with EPA being credited for being engaged and actively listening to residents who voiced their concerns about the implications of PFAS on their families’ health. Media reports from NH detail the challenges states face with competing standards, guidelines, minimum risk levels. and health advisories from the federal government (EPA and ATSDR) and from different states.
