New EPA Water Finance Clearinghouse
Have you been looking for information to help your water systems better understand their financing options? EPA’s Water Infrastructure and Resiliency Finance Center (WIRFC) may have the answers you need.
Last week, EPA’s WIRFC launched the Water Finance Clearinghouse, a web‐based portal to help communities make informed financing decisions for their drinking water, wastewater, and stormwater infrastructure needs. The Clearinghouse provides communities with a searchable database with more than $10 billion in water funding sources and lists more than 550 resources to support local water infrastructure projects. It consolidates and expands upon existing EPA-supported databases to create a one-stop-shop for all community water finance needs. Working in real time, states, as well as other water sector stakeholders, can add new resources to the Clearinghouse through the Contributor Portal.
Want to know more about how it works? EPA is hosting a series of hour long “how to” webinars for the Clearinghouse on August 3, 14, 18, 24, and 31 between 2 and 3PM (eastern). You can register for one of the webinars here.
