Who Would Have Thought…
In an unprecedented and certainly unpredicted move, former House Speaker John Boehner (R-OH) and former Senate Minority Leader Harry Reid (D-NV) have agreed to co-chair a new University of Nevada, Las Vegas think tank. They will join forces at the MGM Resorts Public Policy Institute within UNLV’s Greenspun College of Urban Affairs. Their focus will be on finding bipartisan public policy solutions. In making the announcement, the oft times former foes appear to have become much more collegial and willing to work together on their common goal of inspiring a new generation willing to undertake public service.
