EPA’s OWM Releases the Effective Utility Management Primer

EPA’s Office of Waste Management (OWM), in concert with a number of water and wastewater utility organizations, have just released a new version of the Effective Utility Management Primer.  Based on the Ten Attributes of an Effectively Managed Utility and Five Keys to Management Success, the Effective Utility Management (EUM) Primer is designed to help utilities on their path to effective and sustainable operations.
A copy of the new EUP Primer is attached for your review and use.  You may also download a copy at https://www.epa.gov/sustainable-water-infrastructure/effective-utility-management-primer-water-and-wastewater-utilities.  Participating organizations include the Association of Metropolitan Water Agencies, American Public Works Association, American Water Works Association, National Association of Clean Water Agencies, Water Environment Federation, Association of Clean Water Agencies, National Association of Water Companies, Water Research Foundation, Water Environment Research Foundation, and the Association of State Drinking Water Administrators.
