Webinar Recording Features HABs and USGS Tools
A recording is now available of a recent Water, Sanitation and Hygiene (WASH) webinar hosted by the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC). It includes information about a HABs tracking system and USGS online tools for accessing data. Both may be of interest to state drinking water programs. The One Health Harmful Algal Bloom System (OHHABS), was launched early this summer and allows electronic reporting of health related information (including human, animal, and environmental) about algal blooms by state and territorial health partners. USGS has a number of online tools to access data about surface and groundwater quantity, quality, and trends. Also, USGS is working on getting all their technical reports available digitally.
