If yes, then this opportunity is for you! The Washington State Department of Health (DOH) — Division of Environmental Public Health, Office of Drinking Water — is searching for an innovative and collaborative leader to fill the position of Deputy Director, Central Services.
Reporting to the Office Director for the Office of Drinking Water, the Deputy Director is responsible for managing the office’s Central Services Team, overseeing five sections (Water Quality & Data Management, Communications and Outreach, Fiscal/Contracts, State Revolving Loan Program, and Grants & Loans), that span multiple statewide program and service areas of the drinking water program that apply to over 4,200 Group A and 13,000 Group B public water systems. This individual is responsible for team of 34 and directly supervises a staff of seven. The Central Services team manages the Office’s $230 million biennial capital and operating budget, over $800 million in drinking water infrastructure loans, 105.5 FTE allotments, and all associated financial programs.
