EPA to Hold 2nd Nutrient Modeling Webinar in its Six Part Series
EPA’s Water Quality Modeling Workgroup will host its sixth water quality modeling webinar entitled “Nutrient Modeling: Part 2,” on Tuesday, October 27, 2015, at 1:00pm (eastern). These webinars are aimed at helping water quality professionals better understand modeling and how models can be used to solve the problems facing water quality regulators. This webinar will continue with the discussion of modeling nutrients in the aquatic environment. The webinar will include case studies and potential nutrient endpoints that can be used in rivers, lakes/reservoirs and estuaries, and the potential models and modeling approaches will be presented for each waterbody type. Please see the attached flyer for more information. Information on the first five webinars is available here: http://water.epa.gov/lawsregs/lawsguidance/cwa/tmdl/techsupp.cfm#workgroup.
