Finding EPA Policies and Guidance
Ever want to find that 1988 court ruling that defines “human consumption” as drinking, bathing, showering, cooking, dishwashing, and maintaining oral hygiene, or the 2006 guidance memo on how to handle faucet aerators during LCR tap sampling. There’s actually a web site for that. Maybe there’s an app too but we haven’t found that one!
EPA has recently updated the PWSS Guidance Manual – a master list of all these documents on their web site. The listing covers topics such as SDWA interpretations, analytical methods, enforcement, grants, SDWIS, chemicals, microbiological, and much more. Browse the site to see what you can find. Hopefully it will provide some useful information and not too many “Oops, we got that one wrong”.
