Water Fluoridation Training: February 2015 in California
The CDC Division of Oral Health provides training on the basic engineering practices, operation, administration, and management of a state fluoridation program for community water systems. This course is designed primarily for state-employed engineers, fluoridation program managers, program administrators, and specialists involved with state water fluoridation programs. However, other personnel, such as state and water utility staff involved in drinking water systems, state dental directors, and consulting engineers have benefited from this course. The course is conducted over three days and will next be offered in Sacramento, California, on February 10−12, 2015. Additional information on the course, a preliminary agenda, and registration application are attached. An introduction to the Water Fluoridation Reporting System will be provided on Monday, February 9, from 1−5 p.m.
Attendance is limited because of space and facility considerations, so pre-registration and approval are necessary. Attendees are responsible for their own travel and expenses. Please return a completed registration form to Kip Duchon, CDC National Fluoridation Engineer, to reserve a spot. Questions should also be directed to Mr. Duchon. He can be reached at kduchon@cdc.gov or CFX3@cdc.gov.
