Sustainable Communities Leadership Academy Training on Resilience and Climate Change
The Institute for Sustainable Communities has a Sustainable Communities Leadership Academy, a peer-learning, training and technical assistance program designed to help communities advance, accelerate and scale-up local solutions to the global challenges of climate protection and sustainable development. As part of that program, two upcoming trainings are focused on community resilience and climate change:
- Empowering Community Resilience: Reinventing Community Engagementwill take place on September 11-12, 2014 in Houston, Texas.
- Think Resiliently, Act Regionally: Innovative Governance for Effective Climate Change Adaptation will take place on October 14-16, 2014 in Alexandria, Virginia.
