Save the Date for the EPA Small Systems Workshop
For the past several years, ASDWA has collaborated with EPA-ORD and EPA-OGWDW in convening a small water systems compliance technology workshop. This year’s workshop will take place in Cincinnati, Ohio on September 9-11, 2014 and we will again be able to support the travel of some state staff to this valuable workshop. (Please refer to direct communications from ASDWA to state drinking water administrators for details about this support.) These workshops started out several years ago as arsenic and inorganic contaminant treatment technology workshops, but they eventually morphed into workshops covering a wide array of technical issues associated with small system treatment technologies — for all types of contaminants. The workshop is unique in that state drinking water program personnel have a chance to hear from and ask questions of true national experts on these issues.
