New EPA Map Shows Where Drinking Water is Reliant on Rivers and Streams
As part of EPA’s effort to highlight the importance of streams and the jurisdiction of the Clean Water Act, the Agency has launched a new MAP on its web site. The map shows where the U.S. population gets it drinking water from public water systems that rely in part on headwater, seasonal, or rain-dependent streams on a county by county basis.
