2013 Influenza Update
Join APHL on October 1st from 1:00–2:00 pm (eastern) for a webinar to learn about what could be the next pandemic virus: H7N9 and other novel viruses. Flu seasons are unpredictable in a number of ways. What will happen in the 2013-2014 influenza season? This webinar program will provide an overview of influenza and available diagnostic methods. The significance of influenza as a public health issue, expectations for the upcoming season and the status of novel influenza strains in the world will also be described. This intermediate-level program is appropriate for laboratory professionals working in clinical, public health and academic settings. Continuing Education Credit is available. - Registration fee: $115 is per site for one connection to the live program with unlimited attendance (and CEUs) for everyone AND unlimited access (and CEUs) to the archive program for 6 months.
