USDA Announces $73 Million in Water & Wastewater Loans and Grants
Selected rural water and wastewater systems in Arkansas, California, Idaho, Illinois, Iowa, Kansas, Kentucky, Michigan, Minnesota, Missouri, New Jersey, New York, North Dakota, South Carolina, Virginia, and West Virginia will be receiving funds from USDA Rural Utility Service to upgrade, repair, or expand service in their communities serving fewer than 10,000 people. A total of $54 million in new loans and $19 million in new grants will be awarded in the near term, according to Agriculture Secretary Tom Vilsack.
