PSW Distribution System Optimization Program Promotion

The Partnership for Safe Water is helping to introduce its new distribution system optimization program with a special offer. Water systems that join the distribution system program now will receive a two year membership for the normal one year price. The new optimization program for distribution systems follows the successful Partnership program for surface water treatment optimization. Where the treatment program focuses on turbidity, the distribution program addresses water quality through three system integrity performance indicators – disinfectant residual, main break frequency, and pressure. The distribution program has a phased structure like the existing treatment program, progressing upward through commitment, data collection, self assessment and optimized performance.
