APHL Newsletter: June 2011
The Association of Public Health Laboratories (APHL) has just released their electronic newsletter for June 2011. This newsletter covers issues important to the public health and laboratory communities but also contains information that may be of interest to state drinking water programs. In this issue, APHL covers their involvement in CDC’s Environmental Health Tracking Network and a report on what your environmental laboratory can do for you (issued in conjunction with ECOS). They also report on a new EPA initiative to assure the competency of laboratories. State news is included from Arkansas, Louisiana, and Pennsylvania. Finally, information is included on upcoming training and conferences.
